PRN is a flat rate of $47.58/hour.
Coverage Need: Monday - Friday Days
No Call Requirement
- Ensures exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use, and that all equipment undergoes routine cleaning and safety checks.
- Notifies appropriate personnel when inventory is low. Educates patients and family members about MRI procedures, contrast use, and safety precautions, promoting comfort and cooperation throughout the exam.
- Positions patients accurately and comfortably using appropriate immobilization and coil placement techniques to ensure high-quality imaging.
- Prepares and administers IV contrast material following safety guidelines and monitors patients for adverse reactions.
- Performs and documents daily system quality control (QC) checks in compliance with departmental policies and regulatory requirements.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to communicate effectively and work with people of various diverse backgrounds [Required]
- Knowledge of MRI procedures [Required]
- Knowledge of MRI scanners [Required]
- Ability to learn and grow with new technology [Required]
- Customer Service skills [Required]
Education:
- Associate [Preferred]
- High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
Work Experience:
- 1+ years experience in radiology and completion of MRI training program [Preferred]
Additional Information:
- Texas MRT license (Required)
Licenses and Certifications:
- Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
- Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging (R.T.(MR)ARRT)) [Required] OR
- Registered MRI Technologist (ARMRIT) [Required]

Pay Range:
