Anticipated start date is May 2027.
The anticipated ending date is May 2028.
This is designated as a Full Time, 12-month externship.

Externs are provided with supervision by a range of experienced pediatric audiologists. All staff hold either the ASHA CCC-A or ABA Board Certification in Audiology in addition to the Ohio state licensure in Audiology. Supervision from an audiologist with the CCC-A is guaranteed.

Currently performing diagnostic evaluations, auditory evoked potentials (non-sedated and sedated ABRs), newborn hearing screenings, hearing aid evaluations and fittings, cochlear implant consultations and mappings, bone anchored hearing devices, auditory processing evaluations, and vestibular screenings.

The interprofessional and collaborative practice experiences include:
ENT, speech-language pathology, social work, educational audiology, neurology, hematology/oncology, physical therapy, occupational therapy, etc.

Externs are encouraged to attend local and national educational opportunities.
