The role is responsible for owning applications business analysis for all initiatives in the Victoria’s Secret Beauty product development applications delivery space. Our ideal candidate can work on multiple projects simultaneously and translate business process into digestible building blocks for application solution delivery. This role will be executed through strong communication and end user interaction, directly working with a wide variety of business and technical partners. This is an individual contributor role (no direct reports) on a global team.
Assumes lead role in capturing detailed, system-agnostic business requirements for full scope of technology initiatives
Lead discovery sessions with business partners to identify business scenario use cases for all in-scope process steps, including main and all alternate flows with actors, goals, triggers, and pre- and post-conditions.
Lead team and one-on-one shadowing sessions to document full context of each flow (volume, frequency, duration, concurrent activity, etc.)
Build storyboards of the user experience capturing details of business information (data) and policy (rules) used in context of flow steps
Mentor and train team members in business analysis best practices
Present findings and recommendations to senior Beauty & Home PLM Business Partners, including Product Development, Packaging Development, Sourcing & Costing, Formula Development, Safety, Regulatory, Compliance, Product Testing, and Commercialization
Works closely with Application System Analysts, Operations & Integrations, Project Management, Testing Center of Excellence (TCOE) and cross functional MGTI team members to support application delivery initiatives
Provides effort estimates for business analysis in proposed initiatives
Facilitate sessions to document current business process and design to-be processes (level 2 process maps)
Communicate requirement details to other project resources, including Systems Analyst for packaged systems or QC teams, and training teams
Review functional specs, ensuring that all details of business process and rules are included
Initialize all test cases with traceability to business and functional requirements
Perform functional testing to validate functionality and partner with the QC teams for regression testing
Facilitate User Acceptance Testing and act as escalation resource to answer whether reported issues are in fact defects or business correct
Act as a change agent by assisting in business training execution and materials creation
Executes gap analysis and identifies proactive ways to improve processes
Ability to conduct cost/benefit analysis and measure key success criteria of initiatives.
Required: Bachelor's degree from accredited four-year university or college; or equivalent combination of coursework and job experience
Required: 10 years of application business analysis experience; CBAP certification preferred
Required: Minimum 7 years large scale project implementation experience
Preferred: Minimum 7 years of Retail and/or Consumer Products experience
Required: Strong communication, collaboration and documentation skills
Required: Strong ability to understand impacts across a complex multi-system environment
Beneficial not required: SAP PLM, PPM, Fiori, QM, EH&S system knowledge a plus
