Responsibilities/Job Description
Prioritize work to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Determines and revises priorities for diagnostic testing
Uses appropriate communication skills to meet patient/family, and other customer needs
Communicates effectively with all members of the health care team.
Applies established professional guidelines and standards to complex, routine, and non-routine diagnostic testing procedures.
Adheres to radiologic diagnostic testing procedures
Documents compliance with regulatory agency requirements
Follows infection control guidelines
Adheres to safety protocols
Ensures imaging procedures meet all standards and protocols
Serves as a resource for other healthcare team members
Responds appropriately to emergent situations.
Evaluates imagine results for diagnostic quality
Assesses the validity of the test results to determine if consistent with changing physiological conditions or if due to possible interfering substances
Acts as a resource for problem-solving resolution
Demonstrating ability to provide care or service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level and cultural difference of population served.
Qualifications
Required:
ARRT(R)(M)
Minimum of one year of related experience in General Diagnostic Breast Imaging
1 year of experience working with patients in a capacity including frequent interactions and an understanding age-life cycle needs.
