Postdoctoral Research Position - International Trade and Trade Policy Analyst Full- time Regular Grant Funded posiition
The Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville is seeking a postdoctoral researcher with interest in conducting research on international agricultural trade. The successful candidate will work with a team of researchers to investigate the impacts of current and pending trade agreements, specific trade policies, and regulatory structure and non-tariff measures on U.S. and global agricultural trade. The postdoctoral researcher will be assisting with USDA funded research, as well as other research projects specific to particular agricultural sectors and countries. The person filling this position will also have the opportunity to work closely with Extension specialists, examining the importance of international trade to Tennessee's agricultural and forestry economy.
Postdoctoral researchers are expected to co-author multiple publications in field and interdisciplinary journals. Researchers are encouraged to participate in professional conferences and to seek other professional development opportunities. This position also involves opportunities to work on research with graduate and undergraduate students
