A specialty manufacturing company, located near Cranberry Township, PA, is seeking a Service Technician.
Troubleshoot, test, modify and/or repair specialty electronic systems and provide technical support to the customer base via phone and at customer sites based upon requirements.
Provide telephone technical support to aid customers and OEM’s to install, modify and maintain equipment in the field.
Will be responsible for identifying and repairing faulty circuits to component level.
Will test and calibrate electronic circuits.
Has the authority to add or remove any Certification Mark/Label from non-conforming agency approved products.
Document and report items or repair/failure in company database.
Willing to travel approximately 20% throughout US and Canada for field support and commissioning.
Associate’s Degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent experience
Minimum of 2-3 years of related electronics troubleshooting, testing and repair experience, along with customer support
Ability to read and understand schematics.
Proficient in hand soldering and the use of bench hand tools
Any Radio Frequency (RF) experience highly desired
Good interpersonal skills and professional demeanor and appearance
Ability to make reasonable judgements to satisfy customer issues that have been escalated due to severity of the problem
Maintain a current and valid driver’s license and Passport
Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:00pm (could vary when traveling)
Additional Salary Information: Pay rate depends on experience
