Shannon Clinic Southwest is seeking a full-time audiologist who is willing to work in a team-based environment to provide the best audiologic patient care in West Texas. This individual should be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced ENT clinic with 3 ENTs, 2 other audiologists and 2 audiology technicians. Audiologic duties include completing diagnostic hearing assessments, along with proper and effective counseling, to patients and their caregivers across the lifespan as well as ability to complete the following tests based on best practices: standard audiometry, VNG, EcochG, and ABRs on newborns and as needed for other populations. This individual should be comfortable fitting hearing aids, including but not limited to: counseling, dispensing, troubleshooting and in-office repairs. There is a preference for familiarity or willingness to work with the following hearing aid manufacturers: Phonak, Oticon, Unitron, GN ReSound, and Widex. In addition, complete documentation meeting departmental standards for content, accuracy and timeliness is highly valued.
Doctorate of Audiology
Holds current Texas Audiology State License or is eligible for Texas licensure
ASHA CCCs highly encouraged but not required
Experience with Epic EMR preferred
New graduates will be considered
