The Department of Integrative Biology and Physiology at the University of California, Los Angeles, seeks applicants for an Assistant Project Scientist position. The candidate must hold a PhD in a biology-related field and additional training in neuroscience or genetics. The candidate must have at least three years of research experience beyond the PhD, with demonstrated ability to conduct and publish high-level research on sleep disorders and sleep regulatory processes. Familiarity with work in rodent models of behavior is strongly desired. Extensive knowledge and expertise with molecular and cellular assays in brain tissues are required.
