Reporting to the Nuclear Medicine Supervisor, incumbent is responsible for the performance of the full range of in vivo and in vitro Nuclear Medicine procedures utilizing radiopharmaceuticals and related chemical substances. Responsible for the provision of quality patient care, including the timely throughput of patients and the performance of their exams. Operates and performs quality control of stationary and portable scintillation equipment including, gamma cameras, Geiger-Mueller counters, well counters, dose calibration devices and ancillary equipment. Requirements include working On-Call and working rotating shifts. With Current CRT (Certified Radiologic Technologist) or ARRT (American Registered Radiologic Technology, Radiology or CT) licensure and experience in performing CT, incumbent can perform Diagnostic CT studies on PET/CT scanner, including injection of CT Contrast Media, image acquisition and reformatting.
Hourly Rate $47.24 $54.79 $62.33
Must work On-call and rotational shifts as needed

Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Knowledge of State regulatory radiation safety practices and the principles of ALARA
Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program
Graduate of an accredited radiology program
NMTCB and/or AART (N) licensure for Nuclear Medicine
Must possess State of California CNMT License
Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
Must be able to provide on-call/call-back service as needed
Minimum one year, full-time experience working as a CNMT
Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
Current BLS certification
Minimum 1 year, full time experience performing CT procedures.
Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
