The Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) will provide support for research activities in the Division of Nephrology. The CRC will be responsible for patient recruitment for genetic and non-genetic studies.
Obtain informed consent and administer standardized questionnaires.
Perform collection of biosamples, including kidney biopsy tissue.
Perform clinical and follow-up data collection from medical records.
Schedule and organize study visits; perform follow-up visits.
Perform data entry into a research database.
Responsible for proper storage of human samples.
Maintain detailed study files and complete paper and electronic case report forms.
Ensure data quality, integrity and compliance with all regulatory, institutional, and departmental requirements.
Maintain database and provide recruitment reports.
Assist with data analysis and participate in preparation of manuscripts and grant reports.
Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education, training and experience, plus two years of related experience
Participation in the medical surveillance program
Contact with patients and/or human research subjects
Potential bloodborne pathogen exposure
Successful completion of applicable compliance and systems training requirements
