What You'll Bring:
7+ years Human Resources compliance experience
Bachelor's degree. Master's Degree or legal experience highly preferred
Strong knowledge of current employment law and regulatory requirements
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
The ability to work independently and as part of a larger, cross-functional team
Impact You'll Make:
Supports HR in complying with requirements of employment regulations, regulatory agencies. Ensure requirements are met through HR systems, policies, processes and practices.
Serve as a subject matter expert in employment-related obligations and HR compliance best practices, providing counsel and guidance.
Draft and oversee HR policies and standard operating procedures, in accordance with applicable labor laws. Make timely revisions and updates as necessary to maintain compliance.
Research changes in regulations to understand impact on the organization, in consult with the Corporate Legal department. Coordinate with functional areas to identify and implement appropriate practices.
Provide oversight to maintain compliant employment documentation and records.
Conduct regular assessments of HR practices to identify and evaluate risk. Recommend and implement compliant solutions.
Perform internal HR-compliance evaluations of operations, documents, and communications to ensure policies and obligations are being followed. Assist in response to employment-related external audits and inquiries.
Prepare and deliver HR compliance-related training to communicate requirements and educate associates on how to comply.
