PDCI is seeking a Manager, Policy Insights to support the Strategic Consulting and Policy Team at PDCI.
Reporting to the Associate Director Market Access and Policy Research, the Manager provides strategic support to the team and other Project group, including researching and providing strategic insights into policies important to specific projects, such as Market Access Assessments, client white papers, abstracts, ensuring deliverables meet & exceed client expectations.
Responsible for keeping staff informed on policy developments, ensuring PDCI is at the forefront of public policy matters affecting pharmaceutical industry clients.
Execute other tactics to present PDCI consultants as thought leaders and strategic partners to pharmaceutical industry clients.
Provide insights into private and public payer markets, their drug review processes and reimbursement trends affecting market access
Develop and implement strategies to promote the expertise of our company to current and potential clients.
Support and lead selected research and components of client Market Access Assessments; inputs into Budget Impact Models & reports; contributes to strategic reviews of Clinical Summaries, PE Reports, and other components of reimbursement dossiers
The Manager will also lead assigned Client Project Components that reflect the core competencies required for this role
Contribute to budget impact models in submissions and reimbursement negotiations
Prepare and communicate to teams on health and drug policy research, issues management, and data analyses
Support primary research, including Advisory Board development and management
Lead the PDCI Policy Committee and responsible for researching and publishing material on public policies affecting PDCI clients In collaboration with cross-functional teams, develop and execute the PDCI social marketing plan, "White Papers", policy research plan, and publication of research initiatives
Develop and implement the strategic direction and publication of the PDCI Target Pharma Newsletter
Post-Secondary degree (Bachelor's in science, economics, journalism, communications, public policy), Additional degrees/certifications an asset (e.g., Master's in sciences, economics, public/business administration)
Quality and efficiency: excellent organizational skills with a superior attention to detail
Multi-tasker: ability to balance multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines
Excellent knowledge of MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently on focus well-defined projects
Ability to research and problem solve
Strong administrative skills & data entry working experience.
Intermediate understanding of Canadian public policy and pharmaceutical market access, including experience working within these environments
Intermediate understanding of market access organizations, processes, concepts, strategies
e.g., 3-5 years in related life sciences market access work experience and consulting/business experience
