The Short-Term Casual Officer will report directly to the Director of Education and the Director of Diversity and Inclusion. The incumbent must be detail oriented, collegial, with proven ability to execute projects, track outcomes, and have strong analytical skills. Additionally, the incumbent will be entrusted to handle confidential information and must possess diplomacy, collegiality, a professional demeanor, appearance and adhere to ethical practices. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task and computer skills are essential.
Assist with scheduling and coordination of events
Document attendance and minutes of meetings
Assist with facilitation and completion of verification of training requests
Assist with compliance data and regulatory documentation
Assist the Directors and Coordinators with internal projects and ad hoc duties as assigned
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education, training, and experience.
Medical education experience highly preferred.
The incumbent must exhibit the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously; prioritize tasks while maintaining responsibility for timely execution and confidentiality of information of materials. Must be proficient in MS applications [Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook] and internet applications [ZOOM, WebEx]. Strong interpersonal, organizational, language and writing skills required. Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision as a team member. The incumbent must demonstrate resourcefulness, and problem-solving skills.
