Eastern Iowa Light and Power Cooperative had an immediate opening in our WILTON, IA location for a Safety and Training Coordinator.
The position will research, plan, develop and implement health and safety programs that comply with all federal, state and local safety standards and any other regulatory requirements of the Cooperative. Develop and maintain a series of programs that reduce or eliminate occupational injuries, illnesses, and financial losses. Interface with key stakeholders on internal and external safety concerns to develop effective, professional relationships. Provide training, controls and procedures to maintain a safe work environment for employees, members and the public. Support the development and coordination of training programs.

High School diploma or GED required, Associate degree in a related field preferred. Three to five years of experience in the electrical power industry and customer service desired. Possess or must be able to quickly obtain a valid CPR/AED and First Aid certifications. Prior experience in a union work environment preferred. Background and reference check is required.
