About the Job
• The University of Minnesota Center for Clinical Quality and Outcomes and Evaluation (C-QODE) seeks a full-time Project Manager. This position will report to the Directors of C-QODE. The overarching aim of the Center for Develop and implement a model for a earning health system across MHealth that leverages large scale practice data to generate actionable knowledge and inform change. Research areas include • Precision Medicine Leverage big data to characterize molecular response to illness and identify novel therapeutic interventions for trials evaluation. • Biomedical Artificial Intelligence Leverage big data to drive development and implementation of AI enabled solutions. • Knowledge to Practice Leverage big data to drive data-driven healthcare improvement within M Health Fairview.
This individuals’ responsibilities include the
65% Management of project timelines and deliverables C-QODE investigator projects to ensure that the data extraction, data transfers and analysis are completed accurately and on time. In collaboration with C-QODE researchers, create and plan analysis. Using C-QODE resources problem solve, remove barriers and identify procedural and structural modifications.
10% Ensure compliance for all regulatory requirements. Prepare, submit and monitor all regulatory documents, including human subjects approval, and licenses.
10% Reviewing and synthesizing research literature; conducting critical reviews. Identify new analytic methods and models.
10% Prepare technical reports. Support manuscript and research proposal preparation for C-QODE projects
5% Escalates incidents and/or problems to other team members when unable to resolve incident and/or problem..
Other job responsibilities as assigned.
Salary for this position is budgeted $60,000-65,000 annually and is a Civil Service position eligible for overtime.
All required qualifications must be documented on application materials
â— BA/BS degree and at least 4 years of relevant experience or advanced degree plus at least 2 years of relevant experience; or a combination of related education and experience to equal eight (8) years. â— Excellent verbal & written communication â— Demonstrated project management, organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills â— Strong hands-on experience and understanding of project implementations, project structure (both formal and informal), project life-cycle, and best practice project standards. â— Project management, planning, problem-solving and decision-making skills. â— Strong critical thinking, problem solving and data analysis skills. â— Strong people skills – able to build strong relationships within the organization and team. â— Proven project planning skills; ability to deliver results through method of execution, testing and quality assurance. â— Self-motivated and self-directed; able to set priorities and drive results
Preferred Qualifications â— 4+ years’ experience and/or coursework in information technology, statistics, economics, or management including database management â— Ability to handle stressful situations in a positive manner and evidence of experience in a collaborative team environment; â— Experience working in University environment; â— Ability to function effectively in a complex organizational environment and ability to successfully relate and interact with diverse groups of people. â— Supervisory experience â— Experience with manuscript and grant writing â— Positive demeanor and the ability to find creative solutions and workarounds is a plus.
