Manage the preparation and implementation of pricing and market access/reimbursement strategies on behalf of our pharmaceutical/biotechnology clients.
Primary Role and Responsibilities :
Manage project budgets, timelines and scope (e.g., submissions/filings to CADTH, INESSS, public/private payers and PMPRB) according to the targeted project specifications.
Manage project budgets and resources within set timelines and scope, while effectively communicating targets to cross-functional teams that may include more senior staff
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage the development and preparation of submission components
Compile and assemble information and documents for submissions, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables meeting HTA/payer/PMPRB requirements
Schedule, coordinate and/or facilitate meetings with HTA agencies/payers/PMPRB to present client product information and/or obtain advice to inform submissions
Ensure consistent and clear communication between project team and client
Manage project close-out activities
Understand HTA and payer formulary listing processes and procedures, public and private payer markets, PMPRB policy changes and reimbursement trends affecting market access
Monitor Canadian and international market access trends, procedural and policy changes within the pharmaceutical industry to assess implications on client products
Demonstrate general/broad industry knowledge with a proficiency for an interest in becoming a subject matter expert
Nurture client relationships through consistently providing sound, trust-worthy information & advice and producing quality deliverables helping them to make business decisions
Maintain and establish excellent client relationships to support business development
Maintain positive partnerships with external stakeholders (e.g., drug plan managers, CADTH, INESSS, pCPA, PMPRB, key opinion leaders) to maximize working relationships
Secondary Responsibilities :
Manage the development and organization of Advisory Boards and webinars Support the preparation of responses to client requests for proposals Support Director in development and implementation of various internal project management-related initiatives and corporate strategies while continuously exploring opportunities for efficiencies and improvements
Post-secondary diploma, degree or equivalent (Bachelor's, ideally with a concentration in Project Management or Public/Business Administration, and/or Certified Associate in Project Management/CAPM or a Project Management Professional/PMP)
Knowledge and experience preparing and submitting dossiers to CDR, pCODR and public/private drug plan formularies and PMPRB is a highly-valued asset
2 or more years' related work experience in project management or coordination, ideally in the pharmaceutical industry and/or consulting
Development and management of Advisory Boards an asset
Broad understanding of the pharmaceutical industry
Effective communication with clients/external stakeholders
Excellent organizational skills with superior attention to detail
Ability to balance multiple priorities, projects and tight deadlines, while working effectively and efficiently
Pro-active engagement and foresight of when and how to communicate potential project issues to clients
Strong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
Advanced knowledge of MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
Effective team player, but able to work without extensive supervision
Passion for team work and collaboration, with emphasis on adaptability and flexibility
Fluency in verbal and written English is essential, proficiency in French is an asset but not essential
