Under the general direction of the Graduate School Dean/Director of Online Learning, serve as the champion of the academic quality and integrity of UNH Online programs to ensure academic excellence, regulatory compliance, and positive student outcomes. â¢Inspire and collaborate with UNH leadership to build a portfolio of online programs consistent with the University strategic plan that serves the needs of UNH students as well regional, national, and international workforce needs. â¢With expert knowledge of the online education market, research and trends, provide vision, guidance, insight, and direction on how to best position UNH online programs for success. â¢Provide leadership on program development, project management of program launches, marketing and recruitment strategies, enrollment planning and forecasting to meet UNH revenue targets and online program enrollment goals. â¢Oversee admissions and enrollment activities, coordination of student services, student retention support, budget management and UNH Online office personnel management. â¢Collaborate with programs to cultivate external program partnerships to foster a pipeline for student recruitment. â¢Cultivate internal partnerships and collaborative coordination with other campuses, deans, associate deans, program directors and various University offices including Enrollment Management, Graduate School, Billing Services, Registrarâs Office, Communications and Public Affairs, Information Technology, and Business Service Centers. Fostering positive and productive relationships is critical to this position. â¢Work with the Director to establish policies, procedures, and models to support expanded online course access and online enrollment at UNH and UNH-Manchester.
â¢Masterâs degree and six years of experience in related field. Five or more years of progressive leadership and responsibility with planning, implementing, managing, marketing, and supporting higher education academic programs, and technology services for online programs and students. â¢Demonstrated understanding of the online learning landscape and emerging markets; vision for the future of online education. â¢Demonstrated ability to collaborate with institutional academic leaders and departments to provide leadership for online learning and associated support resources. â¢Participatory decision-making style that prioritizes transparent communications and honest, collegial working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. This leadership position includes developing internal and external partnerships and pursuing initiatives that support distance and online learning. â¢Track record in developing and translating market research into successful online university programs. â¢Track record in developing in executing enrollment marketing and student recruitment strategies within online higher education. â¢Track record in developing business partnerships that support enrollment growth for online programs. â¢Financial and operational acumen necessary for budget management, operational planning, and forecasting.
