We are looking for Full-Time Seasonal Production Operators to join our Production Team this summer on 6 or 12 hour shifts Weyauwega, WI.
The Production Operator performs all tasks involved in the production of Presto Products; ensuring safe and efficient production by following standard work methods and practices. This position frequently handles products 1-25 lbs.
Make safety your number one priority by driving our safety initiatives. Expected to communicate any and all unsafe conditions, unsafe behaviors, near misses, incidents, and/or accidents to a Supervisor or Manager immediately.
Communicate any product quality concerns to the first available Supervisor or Manager within a timely manner.
Communicate any packaging concerns to the first available Supervisor or Manager in a timely manner.
Make spools, restock supplies, put finished rolls away, take out full skids, and assist with startups.
Package finished goods into boxes.
Maintain cleanliness of the work areas by sweeping, dusting, and removing trash from the area on a daily/weekly basis.
Expected to complete all assigned tasks in accordance with Standard Work Procedures.
Provides support for the operation team by working safely to feed material into machines, inspect product for defects, and pack finished goods in correct configuration.
Responsible to comply with best practices and programs to ensure safe product packaging.
High school degree or equivalent required.
Able to complete basic mathematical calculations and follow standard work instructions.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated hands-on ability.

Our Weyauwega, WI, plant is home to approximately 150 employees. We have over 200 plants worldwide. This facility makes specialty products for a variety of industries with innovative manufacturing services.
To be considered for the Summer production positions, applicants should possess:
Must be 18 years old.
Ability to perform highly repetitive or short cycle work.
Judgment and decision making.
Common sense understanding to carry out written/oral instructions.
Ability to work with precise set limits and standards.
Ability to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Attendance: Regular attendance as defined by the attendance policy is an essential function of this position.
Work Schedule: Full time: work a rotating 12 hour shifts
Part-time work shorter shifts or less days, flexible scheduling
