Acute Care Occupational Therapist (Full Time)

Job Summary: The Occupational Therapist (OT) is responsible for performing age and diagnosis specific assessment and treatment relevant to the patient's/resident's/client's individual needs. This assessment may include cognitive, sensory, neuromuscular, perceptual motor skills, psychosocial skills, functional daily living and work related skills, and home/work/community environments. Based on the assessment, the OT then develops a plan of care, initiates, performs and manages treatments as indicated, assesses response to treatment and assists in discharge planning. The OT provides education related to the treatment program, disease process and prevention of further injuries to the patient/resident/client and other members of the health
