Clinical Research Coordinator

The Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery is recruiting a Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) for the Children's Communication Center (CCC). The CRC will provide operational and research expertise to support the clinical, outreach, publicity and quality improvement/research activities of the CCC.

Duties will include, but will not be limited to the following:
1. Comprehensive care coordination (pre- and post-visit) for patients seen in the multidisciplinary Hearing and Communication Clinic (HCC)
2. In-person participation in the HCC for patient recruitment, consent, and survey administration
3. Telephone survey administration
4. Database management and data entry
5. Conduct reviews of medical charts and electronic records to extract medical information and other data for use in studies
6. Administrative support for research study activity (including working with the UCSF Committee for Human Research and other regulatory agencies)
7. Coordinate community outreach projects and activities, including conferences and other off-site events
8. Manage pediatric multidisciplinary HCC, serving as a primary contact for all patient's families
9. Serve as a co-administrator for the CCC
10. Maintain the CCC website.
