Position Description:
Under the leadership of the Chief Operating Officer, the incumbent of this position will have the responsibility for provider network development.
Desired Experience and Qualifications
Knowledge and understanding of the provider types and specialties required to develop a new network;
Understanding of standards required by the Department of Health Services, California Department of Managed Health Care, or other regulatory bodies;
Experience planning, executing, and contracting and delivering a robust network of providers necessary to meet the regulatory requirements associated with primary, specialty, behavioral health, hospital, and/or ambulatory care access and availability;
Collaborative leader;
Ability to translate strategic imperatives into tactical plans. Execution is key!

Employment Standards
The required knowledge and abilities are typically attained through training and experience equivalent to possession of a Bachelor's degree. Relevant experience can substitute for education on a year-for-year basis. Relevant experience includes experience performing analytical, administrative, lead, supervisory, or management duties, which include interpreting rules and regulations, gathering data and formulating recommendations, and report writing. AND
Seven (7) years of analytical, administrative, lead, supervisory or management experience which includes duties interpreting rules and regulations, gathering data and formulating recommendations, and report writing; four (4) years of which must be at the journey level.
A Master's degree can substitute for one (1) year of the required experience.
