Please clearly identify in your letter of intent which of the 3 Froedtert/MCW 4th year positions you are applying for (tinnitus , comprehensive or cochlear implant) and complete the appropriate applications.
If applying for the tinnitus & comprehensive positions, which are both managed by Kayla Sanders, you will submit your applications to kayla.sanders@froedtert.com and only 1 set of letters of rec are needed. Please try to send all application materials in 1 email if possible.
If you are also applying for the Froedtert/MCW cochlear implant focused position, please make sure to complete that application separately and submit to Shannon Walsh (swalsh@mcw.edu).
1st round interviews will be completed virtually (phone or zoom) by Kayla Sanders, AuD
2nd round interviews will be completed virtually or in-person if local and will be with most of the 9 diagnostic audiologists.
In person tour of facilities can be scheduled after interview but is not required.

Over the course of the year, we expect the extern to become proficient and independent at performance of comprehensive hearing and vestibular assessments. Competent in hearing aid selection/evaluation, consultation, dispensing/fitting, verification and validation, troubleshooting and programming. Additionally, the student will gain confidence in tinnitus evaluation and tinnitus management/counseling and evoked potentials (VEMP, ABR, ASSR). Student will also have experience with cochlear implant and osseointegrated devices.

Opportunity to perform paid part time audiology assistant duties based on performance and interest. Candidate will need to interview and complete separate onboarding orientation. This job will require application and obtaining a Wisconsin HIS "trainee" license upon acceptance of position. A Wisconsin HIS license (which requires taking an in-person exam) will then be obtained after starting.
