We seek to hire one Postdoctoral Research Fellow through the Northeastern University-Moderna Academic-Industrial Fellowship program. The Post-Doctoral Fellow will be responsible for the clinical pharmacology and pharmacometric deliverables for drug candidates in early and later stages of clinical development. She/he will contribute to evaluating various clinical pharmacology and modeling strategies and building clinical pharmacology and pharmacometrics models to support dose selection at various stages of drug development. The Fellow will support the Clinical Pharmacology Project Lead at Moderna on programs with high quantitative intensity and will collaborate closely with Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacometrics team on advanced pharmacology models. At Northeastern, the Fellow will be involved in publication, presentations, and mentoring of junior level students in the laboratory. Specifically, the candidate will be involved in:
Development and execute Quantitative Pharmacology and Pharmacometric Strategy of clinical development teams under the supervision of Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacometric project lead at Moderna.
Support regulatory responses related to clinical pharmacology and pharmacometrics.
Performs advanced quantitative pharmacology and pharmacometric analyses and activities within assigned programs to yield high value PK/PD support for critical decisions and dose selection.
Interprets and presents results and recommends appropriate actions
Develops and maintains strong knowledge of best regulatory practices, clinical pharmacology principles, PK/PD analysis methodology and drug development precedent.
Develops and maintains scientific awareness and presence in Quantitative Pharmacology and Pharmacometric Science.
Publishes manuscripts and posters, presents at national and international scientific conferences and other scientific forums.
QUALIFICATIONS
A PhD degree with a focus in pharmacokinetics, pharmacology, pharmaceutics or other related field.
Hands-on proficiency in using pharmacometrics tools including but not limited to NONMEM, R and Phoenix.
Understanding of pharmacometric principles and incorporation of M&S strategies.
Ability to develop and deliver clear and concise presentations for both internal and external meetings.
Publication record in pharmacometrics.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

Expected Hiring Range: $59,425.00 - $83,935.00
