Paid at $20/hour for $3200 per month, for 10 months.
We are a busy private practice in Wenatchee, Washington and currently seeking an Audiology extern who is driven, self-motivated, and passionate about helping patients hear well again. The ideal candidate must be strong clinically and can effectively counsel while building patient rapport.
Job responsibilities include a full range of Audiology services including: comprehensive diagnostic hearing testing, auditory processing disorder evaluations, hearing aid evaluations, hearing aid fitting's, follow-up's and repairs. Better Hearing serves all patient populations, including pediatric and school-age children. Better Hearing is a Community Care Provider for the VA. We work with all major hearing aid manufacturers.
The extern will receive a stipend of $3200 per month ($20/hour).
The successful candidate will possess the following:
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
The ability to work in a team environment
The ability to always interact professionally with patients and team members.
If the student wants to attend a conference, we can arrange time off for that to happen.
