The Office of Information Technology (OIT) High Performance & Scientific Computing (HPSC) group at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville seeks qualified applicants for an HPSC Manager. The OIT HPSC group provides high performance computing (HPC) resources, services, and scientific computing support to researchers and students to further the research and academic mission of the University giving researchers, students, and their collaborators the capability to investigate and solve cutting-edge and computationally challenging problems. The successful candidate for HPSC Manager will be an individual that has an in-depth knowledge of many aspects of HPC and/or scientific computing, will supervise the HPSC group and the projects they participate in, and will work with faculty, students, and other researchers to make effective use of the resources and services for research. This position cannot be 100% remote.
