This Clinical Nutrition Education Coordinator will be responsible for:
Developing, implementing, evaluating and overseeing staff education programs, including orientation competencies, in-service and continuing education.
Coordinating, supervising, and evaluation dietetic interns/students/nutrition fellows on pediatric rotations and visits
Developing and implementing hospital-wide pediatric malnutrition program
Supporting departmental and hospital-wide programs, initiatives and organizational changes to improve outcomes for Clinical Nutrition.
Assuring compliance with standards, guidelines, laws and requirements of regulatory agencies, credentialing agencies and professional organizations.
May provide direct patient care.
To qualify, you must have...
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition & Dietetics or closely related field; Master's degree, preferred
Minimum of four years of progressive dietetic experience in pediatric nutrition, including demonstrated project management and leadership experience. Experience with implementation of a malnutrition program, a plus.
Registration by Commission on Dietetic Registration, the Credentialing agency of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, as a Registered Dietitian.
Licensure by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a licensed Dietitian.
