The Biosafety Officer, serves as the campus authority for biosafety. The position provides expert leadership in developing, implementing, and overseeing biosafety programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The incumbent conducts laboratory inspections and audits, and collaborates with researchers, administrators, and regulatory agencies to promote a safe and compliant research environment across all university facilities.
