Research Senior Technician
Position SummaryThe laboratory of Dr. Wieland at the Pelotonia Institute for Immuno-Oncology (PIIO) studies the immunological landscape of human papillomavirus-associated head and neck cancer. Central questions of the lab are which viral antigens are being targeted, which immune cell subsets participate in anti-tumor responses, and how they interact using predominately patient-derived specimens. The lab employs several state-of-the-art techniques to address these questions. In addition, the lab is actively engaged in the production of recombinant proteins and human monoclonal antibodies to support our own work as well as other researchers worldwide.
