We offer up to 3 full-time paid 4th year externships that start generally in mid-May. Externs are hired for a 12-month competency-based experience. The externships are solely clinical but provide exposure to children birth to 21 years of age. Externs will rotate to one of four primary locations in the North Atlanta Metroplex. Externs will have a primary preceptor at each location and participate in all areas of pediatric audiology including comprehensive ABR / ASSR testing, behavioral audiological assessments and hearing aid and osseointegrated processor evaluations and fittings.
