About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Credentialing Specialist to support a high-priority
project with the Department of Defense (DoD) and Veteran Affairs (VA). In this role,
you will be responsible for managing provider enrollment and facilities credentialing
processes, ensuring compliance with federal and agency-specific requirements. This is
a 100% remote, full-time contract position with an initial duration of three months,
with the potential for extension based on project needs and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and process provider enrollment and credentialing applications in
compliance with DoD and VA regulations.
• Verify provider credentials, licensure, and certifications to ensure compliance
with organizational and federal standards.
• Maintain and update credentialing databases, ensuring accurate and timely
documentation.
• Coordinate with healthcare providers, facilities, and regulatory agencies to
resolve any credentialing issues.
• Monitor and track credentialing deadlines, ensuring timely renewals and
compliance with all applicable policies.
• Assist with audits and reporting requirements as needed.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
regarding credentialing requirements and status updates. 

Required Qualifications:
• U.S. Citizenship is strictly required due to project requirements.
• 3-5+ years of experience in credentialing, provider enrollment, or a related
field, preferably within government or healthcare organizations.
• Strong knowledge of credentialing standards, regulatory requirements, and best
practices.
• Experience working with credentialing databases and provider enrollment
systems.

• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple
priorities.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a 100% remote environment while meeting
deadlines and compliance standards.
