Clinical Research Coordinator
Dr. Christina Mangurian (PI) has received funding from the Department of State Hospitals (DSH) to direct a clinical research program related to the provision of mental health treatment/assessment in a forensic psychiatric system and evaluating the impact of relevant policies on this system. This research is a collaborative effort between the DSH and UCSF. The research is related to a variety of forensic psychiatric issues, including risk assessment, risk management, malingering, competence restoration and other issues as dictated by the needs of the DSH. The position involves working with severely mentally ill patients committed to the state hospitals via the criminal justice system.The
