The Industrial Hygiene (IH) Supervisor provides leadership and technical expertise for UCSF's clinical safety and industrial hygiene programs. Working from management's overarching objectives, the incumbent is expected to independently perform a wide spectrum of industrial hygiene services to include occupational exposure monitoring, indoor air quality investigations, hazard/risk assessments, local exhaust ventilation assessments, accident investigations, respirator fit testing, and direct these services as provided by staff. The IH Supervisor must be proficient in technical report writing and have the ability to explain complex topics to a wide-ranging audience across the UCSF campus and Medical Center communities, while monitoring and reviewing the work of subordinates.
