This position must have leadership and pediatric experience.
This position provides operational and clinical leadership to direct clinical staff to ensure consistent quality patient care in accordance with all applicable federal, regulatory, and professional standards and requirements. Acts as a liaison with other departments to facilitate quick resolution of issues to ensure excellence in a family-centered care environment.
Education
Successful completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapist Program. (Required)
Health care related bachelors degree. (Preferred)
Experience
Minimum of three (3) years of clinical respiratory care experience in a hospital environment with one (1) year in a leadership position. (Required)
Certifications
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association. (Required)
Current Registered Respiratory Therapist credential (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). (Required)
Current State of Arizona Respiratory Care Practitioner license. (Required)
American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC) membership. (Preferred)
Current PALS certification. (Preferred)
Current Neonatal/Pediatric Specialty credential (NPS) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). (Preferred)
