A Postdoctoral Associate position is currently available in the Kussell Lab at NYU’s Center for Genomics and Systems Biology to perform computational and theoretical research in bacterial population genetics and evolutionary dynamics. The postdoctoral associate will be hired to work on a project focused on understanding the impact of recombination on bacterial population dynamics and genome evolution. A major component of the work will be computational, involving a substantial amount of programming and data analysis, including development of new methods and algorithms.
