The Fairview Pharmacy Services (FPS) PGY2 Medication-Use Safety and Policy Residency is a 12-month program that advances the resident’s skills in medication safety, drug formulary management, revenue management, medication-use policy, drug information, regulatory compliance, problem-solving, and metrics/data analysis within an academic health-system, M Heath Fairview (MHFV). The program is designed to prepare the resident to practice in a variety of roles related to medication-use safety and policy at various practice sites including health-systems, ambulatory pharmacy, academia, industry, population health, or managed care. Residents will receive comprehensive training in medication safety science, medication utilization evaluation, drug formulary management, medication policy, data an
