The Industrial Hygienist serves as the technical expert for UCSF's clinical safety and industrial hygiene programs. With minimal supervision, the incumbent is expected to independently perform a wide spectrum of industrial hygiene services to include occupational exposure monitoring, indoor air quality investigations, hazard/risk assessments, local exhaust ventilation assessments, accident investigations, respirator fit testing, and others as required. The IH must be proficient in technical report writing and have the ability to explain complex topics to a wide ranging audience across the UCSF campus and Medical Center communities.
