• Developing, implementing, and maintaining the framework of the Privacy Compliance Program ("Program"), including reporting educational needs based on an assessment of compliance risks for the UCSF enterprise.
• Conducting timely review, revision, and implementation of UCSF enterprise-wide privacy policies and procedures and assessing compliance with current and proposed federal and state regulations and UC system-wide policies and procedures.
• Managing complex privacy/compliance HIPAA projects, participating in special projects such as process improvements, and supporting the Program's work items, including conducting privacy due diligence of UCSF Health Network acquisitions.

• Supporting the interdepartmental framework for research privacy compliance at UCSF, including training, consultations, and other relevant research privacy compliance projects.
• Under the Privacy Investigations and Regulatory Manager's supervision, they apply their knowledge of internal policies and external privacy regulations to investigate privacy incidents, determine reportability, and facilitate any required reporting. They will also work with relevant stakeholders to implement preventative and mitigating measures.

The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on several factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $105,900 - $225,900 (Annual Rate).
