THE OPPORTUNITY: CHIEF PHARMACY OFFICER

The Chief Pharmacy Officer (CPO) plans, directs, and monitors all financial, operational, professional, and clinical activities of the department. Works to identify community needs and develop strategic pharmacy programs and service lines to meet the need. Oversees the development and implementation of Policies and Procedures that ensure the health center and pharmacy department provide optimal pharmaceutical services that meet all legal, accreditation, and certification requirements. Directs pharmacy management team to ensure that all pharmacy services are delivered within the mandated 340b, HRSA and state regulatory requirements. Ensures management team develops consistent competence assessment programs that ensure all pharmacy staff performs all duties and responsibilities with utmost efficiency and safety, as well as complies with all applicable policies, procedures and standards of the health center, HRSA and the MA Board of Pharmacy.
