Mom's Meals seeks an agile, distinguished and mission driven executive to serve as its next Chief Compliance Officer (CCO).
The Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) will lead and oversee the entire compliance program at Mom's Meals, aligning it with the organization's mission and strategic objectives. The incoming Chief Compliance Officer should possess a strong vision and the ability to lead a national organization. They must adeptly navigate, analyze, and interpret regulations across numerous states, developing strategies to ensure the organization complies with evolving regulatory requirements including Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, Older Americans Act, Telecommunication Consumer Protection Act, Tricare, HIPAA as well as USDA and FDA regulations. Mom's Meals currently operates in all 50 states which will require navigating local regulatory requirements that vary from state to state. While relocation to the Des Moines, Iowa, area is preferred, there is the option for this position to be supporting the organization virtually working out of a home office environment, ideally in or near a community with easy access to Des Moines, Iowa. The CCO will need to be onsite every two weeks.
