Speech-Language Pathologist for acute care services. 

• Evaluation and management of adults with communication and swallowing disorders in an academic university hospital acute care setting
• Opportunities for increasingly complex diagnostic work, including completion of outpatient videofluoroscopic swallow studies
• Documentation of clinical findings, adhering to regulatory agency and insurance requirements
• Education of patients and families regarding communication and swallowing disorders

• M.A. or M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence 
• State of Michigan licensure
• Progressively complex experience with the assessment and treatment of speech, language, voice, resonance, cognitive-communicative and swallowing disorders.
• Excellent or strong communication skills, verbal and written
• Ability to work effectively with medical and allied health professionals within an interdisciplinary team
• Not a clinical fellowship year (CFY) position
• Full-time position with benefits; including professional development funding

• Previous experience in an acute care hospital
• Ability to perform and interpret videofluoroscopic swallowing studies

NOTE: Full time position, 40 hours/week will include weekends
