1. Primary role will be as a case manager focused on Opioid Remediation for individuals with Opioid Use Disorders. 2. Provide education and guidance to patients and families as they enter and continue through treatment and off therapy follow up. 3. Mitigate other alleged effects of the opioid epidemic including working with family members/significant others all within the context of the current Opiate epidemic. 4. Advocates for interventions to decrease stress of patients and families during their experience while creating a safe and nurturing environment.
Required Skill/ability 1: Ability to utilize best practices with clients focused on (1) addressing the misuse and abuse of opioid products, (2) treating or mitigating opioid use or related disorders, and (3) mitigating other alleged effects of, including on those injured as a result of, the opioid epidemic.
Required Skill/ability 2: Ability to provide person centered care recognizing cultural diversity and the individual as a full partner in decision making.
Required Skill/ability 3: Ability to apply skills in rounds, team meetings and other such venues to promote a culture of excellence in the clinic and community as it relates to treating individuals with opiate use disorders.
Required Skill/ability 4: Ability to provide documentation which meets settlement fund, local, state and federal regulatory requirements.
Required Skill/ability 5: Ability to conduct co-occurring substance use evaluations to help ensure that all individuals in need receive comprehensive assessment and treatment planning.
