The Center for Alcohol and Addiction Studies (CAAS) is administrative home to an NIH Center of Biomedical Research Excellence (COBRE).  This $12 million, 5-year grant has established the Center for Addiction and Disease Risk Exacerbation (CADRE).  Our thematic focus is on the relationship between substance use and chronic disease.  With the implementation of the university-wide diversity and inclusion action plan, and the recruitment of faculty with interests addressing disparities in vulnerable populations, we are seeking to recruit a postdoctoral research associate with interests in addressing substance use issues in high risk, low SES vulnerable populations, especially in racial and ethnic minority populations.  The postdoctoral research associate will primarily work with one or a te
