The Scope Processing Technician II plays critical role in ensuring the safety, effective, and efficient cleaning and disinfection of endoscopes and related equipment used in medical procedures. The Scope Processing Technician II is responsible for following strict protocols to prevent infections and ensure the highest standards of patient care.Essential Duties:Responsible for decontaminating all Endoscopes & Probes according to manufacturers guidelines (IFU).Ensures all equipment is covered properly prior to transfer to/from reprocessing area.Reprocesses Endoscopes utilizing Automated Endoscopic Reprocessor (AER) Units.Perform Chemical Monitoring of the GUS System as per Manual High-Level Disinfectant (HLD) Instruction for Use
