Hear Virginia, a small yet vital audiology private practice, is located in Richmond's suburban west end. Richmond is a preiere destination for hsitorians, travelers, foodies, and microbrewery fans alike. But let's get back to hear Virginia.
HVA (Hear Virginnnia) was founded by owner Lori Klein Gardner AuD and we have provided hearing care to grereater central Virginia for nearly twenty years.. While we do not provide neurodiagnosticcs to our clientele, there is ample opportunity to privde direct patient care such as industrial hearing studies/conservationn, cerumen management, audiological, and immittance measurements.
The primary focus of our patient care is the creation and continuation of ongoing relationships with our patients as we select, provide, and treat hearing loss to essentially an adult population. Such activity typically includes counseling, patient education,, amplification, Lyric hearing, assitive listening techhnology, real ear measurement/verification, and ongoing patient care and support. Our extern is part of a collaborative and supportive team of audiologists and office support staff. Most certainly an externship at HVA will also include multiple opportunities for practical business experience. For instance, each exterrn is encouraged to plan, implement, and evaluate multiple marketing and outreach activities.

Hear Virginia, a small yet vital audiology private practice is located in Richmond's suburban west end. Richmond Virginia is a premiere destination for historians, travelers, foodies, and microbrewery fans alike. But let's get back to Hear Virginia.
HVA (Hear Virginia) was founded by owner Lori Klein Gardner AuD and our work family (which sounds much better than a work team) has provided hearing health care to Central Virginia for eighteen years. While we do not provide neuro-diagnostics to our clientele, there is ample opportunity to develop and to provide direct patient care through industrial hearing conservation, cerumen management, audiological/immittance assessments, tinnitus evaluations and comprehensive amplification services (selection, fitting, and maintenance). The primary focus of our patient care is the creation and continuation of ongoing relationships with our patients as we identify and treat hearing loss and its consequences to essentially an adult population. An extern whose planned career path includes starting or acquiring an audiology private practice will also find ongoing, extensive, and practical business experience and expertise at HVA
