Nemours is seeking a Child Health Policy and Advocacy Intern. The paid internship supports the Nemours Children's Health, National Office of Policy and Prevention, Policy and Advocacy Team (federal government). The team focuses on several policy areas, including Medicaid and children's coverage, whole child health delivery and payment models, mental and behavioral health, early care and education, nutrition and physical activity, Health IT, and pediatric research. Interns become familiar with these policy areas while developing skills in policy research and analysis, writing, organization and government relations.
