The University of Tennessee Center for Industrial Services (CIS) is recruiting a Manufacturing Consultant (IPS Public Service Professional 2) to serve the Greater Memphis Area (Region 1), which includes Shelby, Fayette, Tipton, and Lauderdale counties. CIS provides consulting and training services to help manufacturers and communities grow, succeed and create high quality jobs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Manufacturing Consultant position leads agency efforts to develop and implement a sustainable and innovative manufacturing excellence strategy; develops programs and services to meet customer needs; delivers consulting and training services to help manufacturers improve profitability and business performance; and coordinates efforts with workforce partners and resources across Tennessee.
