Job Summary:The Microbiota Therapeutics Program is seeking an experienced and motivatedresearch scientist to assist with projects focused on mechanisms of host-microbiotainteractions. The work includes development of targeted qPCR assays to test fordifferent commensal bacteria in the gut that may contribute to the pathogenesis of coloncancer. Other work in the program is focused on characterization of donor microbiotaengraftment following microbiota transplant therapies in different applications, e.g.,recurrent C. difficile infections, ulcerative colitis, and others.
