Position serves as an Analyst working with wholesale electric energy markets and their corresponding multi-state regional market structures, transmission planning, stakeholder processes, and corresponding laws and federal regulation.  Acting in multiple forums on behalf of the Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC), this position is responsible for state, regional, and national energy policy on transmission planning and modeling that directly affect the cost of energy paid by all Michigan residential, commercial, and industrial customers; and Michigan’s economic and regulatory climate.  Primary work is in formal and informal forums at the Department of Energy, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), the Midcontinent ISO (MISO), the PJM Interconnection, and the Organization o
