Incumbent serves as a subject matter expert in Cellular Therapy procedures. Incumbent is responsible for performing cell processing and testing for standard therapies, clinical trials or commercial cell therapeutics. Incumbent is familiar with FDA regulations, Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and FACT standards.
Salary Range:
Annual Rate Minimum $78,900.00 Midpoint $112,000.00 Maximum $145,100.00
Required Qualifications:
Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Current CA CLS License
Familiar with Microsoft Office applications
Experience in evaluating, designing, and developing new assays including development of standard operating procedures.
Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to successfully perform assigned duties
Experience with instrument and assay troubleshooting, testing and verification/validation.
Knowledge of laboratory accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
Ability to work in a team environment and independently as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of FDA and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) regulations
Experience in stem cell processing, transfusion medicine, blood separation processes, and quality control/quality assurance
Background in reviewing and developing research laboratory protocols
Knowledge and experience with microbiology procedures
PhD in Biology, Microbiology, Cellular Biology or Biochemistry
