Job Summary: Directs the operations of the Pathology Laboratory Department of both inpatient and outpatient services. Responsible for the management, organization, growth and supervision of clinical and anatomic pathology laboratory services. Responsible for the overall quality, timeliness, and efficiency of lab services provided. Ensures compliance with all applicable regulatory agencies including Joint Commission, AABB, and CLSI. Responsible for performance improvement activities related to laboratory services.  Also responsible for phlebotomy services in the inpatient and outpatient settings.
